It appears that we’ll be getting another Resident Evil game in the near future if a couple of tweets from Sekan Toto, the CEO of Tokyo based game industry consultancy Kantan Games, are anything to go by.

In the two tweets, he reveals that Resident Evil 7 is currently in development and that it will be returning to it’s old Resident Evil horror roots as a “clean slate” of sorts.

What’s also interesting is that Capcom hired ex-Kojima Productions employee Jordan Amaro, who was a designer for both Metal Gear Solid V and P.T.

We’ll know soon enough if this statement holds any water, as Capcom are set to debut Resident Evil 7 at this year’s E3.
