A new Banjo-Kazooie game may be in development according to alleged insider info and some very cheeky tweets from Grant Kirkhope.
First, a new game in the classic franchise has been rumored for years already, but now with the drama of the Microsoft-Activision merger slowly fading we’re starting to hear more about it and similar projects.
On December 29, famous Rare composer Grant Kirkhope responded to an article about the rumored Banjo-Kazooie game with the cliche “Pigs might fly…“. On its own, there’s not much to it however Kirkhope shortly after posted an image of a flying pig, devoid of context.

With the rumors surrounding the game, it’s not a far stretch to assume this is a tacit admission that a new Banjo-Kazooie is in the works.
