When Sega and Paramount Pictures gave us the first teaser for Sonic the Hedgehog‘s new look in his first live-action movie, many fans were instantly concerned at just the shape of the blue blurs new look.
The news comes via a potential leak (now removed) from the agency Hamagami/Carroll Inc., folks who specialize in branding and art from the industry. Featured above and below, you can find the new artwork that seems to directly match up with the previously teased silhouettes.
While it doesn’t seem like the agency is behind the overall redesign of the bluest of hedgehogs, they describe the iconic hedgehog as “mischievous but not malicious” yet “chill and likable.”
To be clear, HCI are the folks responsible for the promotional art and packaging art for various games Mass Effect Andromeda, The Sims 4, and more. As with any rumor or potential, take this with grain of salt until we get a trailer or an official confirmation of the design.
The live-action Sonic the Hedgehog movie is premiering on November 8th, 2019.
