We’ve learned that Dark Souls 3 is possibly getting revealed at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo.
The report comes from a source (via VG247), saying the game would be revealed at the trade show, and that Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls and Bloodborne director Hidetaka Miyazaki is returning to direct and supervise the team.
For those unfamiliar with Miyazaki’s positions held in the series, after work for Dark Souls had concluded, he moved onto a supervisor role for its sequel, Dark Souls 2, with Tomohiro Shibuya and Yui Tanimura co-directing. Miyazaki had seemingly moved on to direct Bloodborne, his visionary new take on action and horror, for the PS4.
Development platforms weren’t confirmed, but the source guessed that a reveal would be coming at Sony’s E3 press conference, which goes down on June 15th.
We’ll keep you guys posted.
