Rumor: Cyberpunk 2077 Will Be Shown at E3 2018 With New Trailer, Playable Behind Closed Doors

A new rumor has fans of CD Projekt RED’s latest RPG opus Cyberpunk 2077 losing their minds.

The rumor, via GRYOnline (the largest Polish gaming website), cites two different sources that separately confirmed the game will be present at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo with a demo, and that it will be playable behind closed doors.

While this is still a rumor, it’s worth pointing out the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account tweeted for the first time in over three years a few days ago – could this be an indication the game will finally be shown off more properly this year?

We still don’t know too much about the game, however state grants for “seamless multiplayer” and a “huge living city” combined with the development team eclipsing that of The Witcher 3 have us already expecting it to be a massive title.

In related news, CD Projekt RED promised that “you get what you pay for” with Cyberpunk 2077, adding that the game will have “no bullshit” and “no hidden catch,” news confirmed after an interview with company CEO Adam Kiciński saw opportunists misconstrue his words.

We’ll keep you guys posted.
