Bokeh Game Studio, the developer behind the upcoming horror game Slitterhead could be working with horror artist and author Junji Ito.
The studio posted a cryptic tweet containing nothing more than the lower half of a face belonging to Tomie, one of Ito’s iconic characters. This has led to fans speculating that Bokeh Game Studios is possibly working with Ito on Slitterhead or possibly some other project.
Junji Ito’s works have been growing in popularity in recent years, due in part to recent anime features of his works including Gyo, Tales of the Macabre, and an upcoming Uzumaki anime.
Ito was previously invited to work on a game with Hideo Kojima.
Slitterhead is Bokeh Game Studio’s first title, a terrifying horror project for unannounced platforms and with no release date. Read more here in our previous report.
