Bloomberg is reporting that Activision Blizzard Inc. may allegedly be cutting “hundreds of jobs” in a bid to counteract dropping shares.

Citing “people familiar with the matter”, are aiming to cut jobs “in the hundreds” as part of ongoing restructuring and centralizing to boost profits.

The desperate action comes from shares falling (as much as 2.5 percent to $42.88 last Friday), due tin part to missed sales goals and lackluster reactions to recent announcements.

In previous news, Activision Blizzard fired their Chief Financial Officer (who swiftly found work at Netflix), and another rumor that they had allegedly paid over 100 staff to leave customer-service roles.
