Rumbleverse is delayed to a TBA date

Rumbleverse is delayed

Publisher Epic Games and developer Iron Galaxy announced Rumbleverse is delayed to an unannounced date, forgoing its previous release.

While Rumbleverse is delayed to an unannounced release date, the December 2021-announced game was originally set for a February 2022 release.

Whenever Rumbleverse does actually release, it’ll be available as a free-to-play game across Windows PC (Epic Games Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

Here’s the word from Iron Galaxy Studios:

We want to thank everyone for the enthusiastic reception that Rumbleverse received after our reveal at The Game Awards. During the First Look play session, it was hilarious and inspiring to see people land their first elbow drop from the top of a skyscraper. Those are the moments you dream about when you work on a game. The thing about game development is that plans have a way of changing…

Today, we are announcing that we have decided not to launch Rumbleverse on February 15.

Having Grapital City filled with Rumblers taught us a lot. We’re excited about the game we’re making – and we’re glad you are, too – but there’s more we want to do to perfect the experience. More than a game, Rumbleverse will be a community that we want to support for a long time. We’re going to take the time to make sure we can get that right.

This obviously means that Early Access won’t begin on February 8. If you bought the Early Access Pack, we are working with our platform partners to refund your purchase. We’ll provide another opportunity for you to purchase content for the game once we schedule a new launch date.

We can’t wait to start building a brand-new community of Rumblers. If you’re eager to play again, there will be some chances for you to help us test the new technology that will bring us together on the Battle Barge. The first test will be February 12 on PC. Click here if you’re a PC gamer who’d like to help us perfect the new infrastructure that will bring us all together on the Battle Barge.
