Viz Media has shared a premiere window and a new trailer for their upcoming Rooster Fighter anime, based on the popular manga of the game name by Shu Sakuratani.
A spring 2026 premiere was revealed for the new Rooster Fighter anime, which is being co-produced by Viz Media and SANZIGEN.
Here’s a brief blurb on the previously announced series, plus a new trailer:
Keiji is more than just an ordinary rooster—he’s humanity’s greatest defender! His opponents may be ten stories tall, but nothing is bigger than his stout heart and his fearsome battle cry—Kokekokko!
Also revealed were new voice actors Tomohiro Ono as the voice of Keisuke and Mitsuaki Kanuka as the voice of Morio. A new poster was revealed, too:
Viz will rep the anime worldwide for TV broadcasting, streaming, home video, and merchandising outside of Japan while Hero’s Inc will manage all of the above for Japan. Adult Swim will air the anime and Viz will reveal more streaming partners later.
Viz has licensed and published the manga in English through its latest and seventh volume.
