Square Enix has announced they’re localizing the updated version of Romancing SaGa 2 for smartphones.
The classic RPG will launch for both iOS and Android sometime “soon,” however a release window isn’t confirmed at the time of publishing.
While the game was re-released across iOS, Android, and PS Vita last month in Japan, the publisher did not confirm the PS Vita version is happening.
Originally released back in 1993, the new version of Romancing SaGa 2 retains its original look (unlike their classic Final Fantasy re-releases which see weird visual updates), while also getting some visual updates in the form of enhanced backgrounds and battle graphics.
