Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Kou Shibusawa have announced a delay for their Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake.

The new Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake will forgo its planned early 2024 release for one sometime later next year. When the remake does launch it’ll be on Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5.

We are pleased to announce that the Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake, the first large-scale remake of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series, is now scheduled to be released in 2024.

We have decided that it is necessary to further improve the quality of the game in order to satisfy our fans. We will announce the release date in due course.
