Do you want to play a game that is action packed, blood-soaked, and has a woman lead being a total bad a** in all of her 2D pixelated glory?  You should definitely check out Rogue Stars.

Rogue Stars is a metroidvanian game combined with shoot ’em up platform action like Contra.  The game is being developed by Tembo Tambiko, who are based out of Spain.  It will be released for PC and Mac, although a release date has yet to be announced.

Rogue Stars is set back in 1945, right after WWII.  A large group of Nazis have fled after the war on experimental space ships.  Now allies around the world have come together and became a part of a secret organization to search the galaxy and eradicate the Nazi ships.

Rogue Stars will have over 100 abilities to make your character unique.  There will be dozens of weapons that range from WWII guns to futuristic ray guns.  The best feature in this game is you get to fight in a variety of places such as massive space ships, and even different planets. Also, each of the levels are randomly generated, meaning no two playthroughs of the game will be the same.
