Risen is getting re-released in January 2023

Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Piranha Bytes announced a re-release for classic CRPG Risen.

The original Risen is being re-released on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 on January 24th, 2023. THQ Nordic is also offering a physical release on Switch and PS4 in North America, exclusively via GameStop.


Risen was originally released for both PC and Xbox 360 back in 2009. The Xbox 360 version is backwards compatible with Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S, and the PC release has been available via Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store.

Risen
