Square Enix has revealed a new game within the Mana series, titled Seiken Densetsu: Rise of Mana, for both iOS and Android devices.

The new action RPG is in full 3D, and it puts you in control of the body carrying both an angel and a demon who just mistakenly enter the same body. The game will feature a multitude of world fields, large enemy types, and a mystery filled story where you have to figure out how they both entered the same body, and how they can get home.

Rise of Mana is unfortunately yet another free to play game with micro-transactions for items. You can switch between the angel and demon at will during normal gameplay, and the game supports up to eight players for multiplayer co-op. Your base within the game is a town called Miste, where you can buy items and weapons, train your pets, and also check out support type services.

Square Enix is also releasing a soundtrack for the game, featuring composers Kenji Ito, Hiroki Kikuta, Yoko Shomomura, and Tsuyoshi Sekito. The soundtrack will set you back 2,700 yen, and first print editions of the soundtrack come with a code for an in-game item within Rise of Mana.
