Following a premature listing from Best Buy, we now finally have confirmation of Rise Kujikawa being playable in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Previously, Rise was a non-playable character in the original Persona 4 Arena, and her playing style is definitely unique.

Featured above, you’ll get a sense of her overall look and feel, and just how her fighting style actually looks like. She seems to use a mix of melee attacks that combine her mic+stand, and lots of musical themed attacks to, sometimes even bringing in backup singers.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is hitting Japan this summer, and it has also been confirmed for a Western release, although the date for us Westerners has yet to be confirmed.
