Ridiculous Fishing is Set for Android

Even though Vlambeer are currently hard at work finishing Nuclear Throne and getting it ready for release, they still have their hands in all kinds of projects, including porting their older games.

One such game, Ridiculous Fishing, actually came out earlier this year, but on iOS. After making over a million dollars in sales, the game is apparently set for a port to the Google Play marketplace.

Vlambeer’s Rami Ismail had this to say in a blog post regarding the Android port:

“Because of popular request, we’ve been working with Zach Gage & Greg Wohlwend since March to see if we can create an Android version of Ridiculous Fishing. The breakthrough came when we met up with the folks at Apportable, who have a framework that allows them to port the game over to Android. That port is now almost done, and the next time you see us mentioning this should be when it releases. It might be sooner than you think.”

So there you have it, the game about not only fishing but shooting fish is heading to Droid very soon. We’ll keep you guys posted.
