Milestone have announced motocrycle racing game Ride 4; along with the release date on Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
As stated in the press release, the series began 5 years prior, focusing on motorcycle racing. This latest entry promises “authentic and lifelike replicas of the most iconic motorcycles” via CAD and 3D scans of the real motorcycles and sports bikes.
The dashboard also changes in real-time based on what occurs, just as the real bike would. “Even the oil bottle vibrates according to the movements of the bike! RIDE 4 is an act of love made by bike enthusiast for bike enthusiast.”
This dedication to detail also extends to the game’s tracks, which have used laser and drone scanning to “enable a never seen before level of accuracy in reproducing the most beloved and iconic tracks, an adrenaline-filled journey all over the world!”
Ride 4 also has a “renewed” Career mode, where players can choose which local and international competition to partake in, as well as how they customize their bike. “Every decision they take will affect their career path, giving access to special events, races and challenges for a unique gaming experience!”
The brand-new Endurance mode will also take players around the world, and show off the dynamic lighting, weather conditions, and pit stop mechanics for tire and fuel management.
The AI opponents are powered by A.N.N.A. (Artificial Neural Network Agent), “a revolutionary Artificial Intelligence based on neural networks enables an incredible level of challenge for players, with cleverer and faster opponents.” Ride 4 will also support dedicated multiplayer servers.
