The blockbuster hit anime/manga series RE:Zero is getting an OVA, and guests who view it in theaters will get access to a bonus.
Patrons who attend screenings of the Re:Zero Hyouketsu no Kizuna (Frozen Bonds) OVA from November 8th to the 14th will get a novel. Light novel author Tappei Nagatsuki penned the 96-page novel, titled Re:ZERO Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu: Hyouketsu no Kizuna Before Memories.
Copies of the screening and novel will be sold at the special event (via Moca News), while supplies last. More details can be found by contacting the Grand Cinema Sunshine on Saturday, November 2, 2019 when the event officially starts.
The novel chronicles the backstory of Emilia, the main love interest of the protagonist Natsuki Subaru. The story seems to follow the daily life of a normal schoolgirl prior to being dragged into the world where the cast of the RE:Zero story resides.
