Warhammer 40k is a multimedia franchise that spans multiple decades, books, games and too many insanely long wiki articles, possessing a huge amount of content and factions established in its own world, however it is difficult to find a faction more beloved than the savage green skinned Orks, with their own dialect based mostly around screaming while firing some nonsensically made scrap gun.
However, while the Orks were playable on some installments of the Real Time Strategy games, they never had a game to themselves, until now that is.

Warhammer 40k: Shootas, Blood & Teef is a twin stick shooter platformer based around the Orks looting a planet for its resources while also taking the opportunity to kill anything that moves or offers any resistance.
As exciting as the concept sounds, Warhammer 40k: Shootas, Blood & Teef manages to be pretty bland in its gameplay, the Orks have access to multiple scrap guns, grenades, rocket dashes, melee weapons, screaming and large amounts of frogs to eat, but the game fails to evolve besides walking on a straight line shooting everything, being reminiscent of older Flash Player games, where the main purpose was to get distracted for half an hour when you had nothing to do.
Where the game really shines is in its presentation, the cutscenes are fully dubbed with the broken Ork dialect and the plot is pretty lighthearted, having the player Ork seek revenge against his Warboss for stealing his hair (Yes, that’s the plot.), also featuring very stylish hand drawn graphics and a fantastic metal soundtrack.
The game had a somewhat rocky launch with performance issues that have been mostly addressed by a patch, however, while the game runs smoothly is does seem prone to crashing, in fact, while I paused the game to write some of my thoughts it crashed by itself after being paused.
It is also not a very long game, clocking in at about 3 hours in length, but it does feature multiplayer, which means that you and three more friends can most likely finish the game in one sitting.
It may be worth the purchase for fans of the Ork faction who want a few simple hours of nonstop explosions and screaming to a heavy metal soundtrack and funny well written dialogue.
