Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Terrible Toybox (in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games) have announced Return to Monkey Island.

The long-awaited sequel to Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge, Return to Monkey Island is in development with a release set for 2022 for unannounced platforms.

Development is led by original writer and designers Ron Gilbert and Dave Grossman, with music by Michael Land, Peter McConnel, and Clint Bajakian, and finally Dominic Armato as Guybrush Threepwood
