Retro City Rampage developer Vblank Entertainment has announced a new sequel for the game, Shakedown Hawaii.
The game is a new open world adventure 30 years after the events of the original, and it’s coming to PlayStation 4, PS Vita, 3DS, and PC via Steam. Featured above, you can view the game’s debut trailer. Players will see the protagonist comes out of early retirement, in the hopes of rebuilding his crumbling empire.
In case you missed it – the sequel is set in the 16-bit era of games, unlike its 8-bit predecessor. The game also features new, powerful weapons, as well as destructible environments.
If you’re attending this year’s PlayStation Experience, Shakedown Hawaii will be playable on the showfloor.
