Retro City Rampage DX is Getting a Physical Release on PS Vita

We’ve gotten confirmation that Retro City Rampage DX is getting a retail version, on Playstation Vita.

The news comes after lots of teasing from developer VBlank Entertainment, and pre-orders are now available over on Fangamer, for $30.

The retail version comes with a retail-exclusive, gold-emblazoned PS Vita Live Area, as well as a new seal and icon. Save data from the original digital release is also compatible with the retail version. It’s also worth mentioning that the game’s retail release is the first PS Vita game to commercially launch without an ESRB rating, which is due to VBlank cutting costs.

Retro City Rampage DX got a Playstation 4 retail release, which sold out rather quickly – so make sure to act on this fast if you’re interested.

I got the physical release on PS4, and despite how silly and superfluous it is to put such a tiny game (file size wise) on a bluray, it was worth it as I like to support developers as much as I can. Kind of wish I waited for the PS Vita retail copy, though..
