Housemarque has confirmed that Resogun is getting its first pack downloadable content in the form of “Heroes.”

Heroes will add two new game modes and an all new patch to the game itself. The first mode is Survival, which enables you to reach the highest score possible with a single, solitary life. The game will also be getting a full in game day/night cycle, as well as new graphical updates, sound effects, item icons, music, and of course – enemies.

The little humans that you rescued in game, only now you don’t have to pick them off and return them to safety to earn points. However, you’ll be able to let out even more humans as you defeat certain enemies or unleash certain combos, and simply picking them up will raise your score.

Unfortunately, the second game mode was not revealed, and neither was the price for the Heroes pack.
