Resident Medieval, a new mod for the original Resident Evil 2, is creatively set in the medieval age, giving players a sword with which to slice up zombies.
Created by well-known Resident Evil modder Aydan Watkins, there is currently a “proof of concept” available that can be played.

Players gain experience when killing zombies, so there will likely be some sort of point-based system or leveling system in the future. An exact release date wasn’t announced.
