    Aniplex and co-developer JOYCITY have announced Resident Evil Survival Unit, a spinoff strategy game for smartphones based on the iconic horror game franchise of the same name.

    Resident Evil Survival Unit is in development for both iOS and Android and will release globally across Japan, South Korea, North America, Europe, and Asia. While a release date wasn’t announced, a full reveal is planned for July 10th at 3PM Pacific / 6 PM Eastern – you can watch it on YouTube.

    “Resident Evil Survival Unit offers a fresh take on the beloved franchise, reimagining the survival horror universe as a real-time strategy experience optimized for mobile platforms, iOS and Android. The game is designed to appeal to both longtime fans and new players,” reads the press release.
