Netflix have announced the premiere date of CGI animated series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. 

Set in 2006 (two years after Resident Evil 4), the White House has been victim to a hacker. While US agent Leon S. Kennedy were convened to investigate, zombies begin to assault the heart of the US government. Later, Claire Redfield approaches Leon about a drawing from a child refugee; zombies attacking his home. Two outbreaks worlds apart, yet nonetheless connected.

The new release date trailer shows the assault on the White House, and Claire dating to expose what happened in Raccoon City to the world. We also get a clear view of what seems to be an especially nasty monster Leon and Claire will have to deal with.
