Capcom has announced that worldwide shipments for Resident Evil 7: biohazard have surpassed three million units.

The game first launched across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in North America and Europe on January 24th, and in Japan on January 26th.

Finally, Capcom confirmed the latest film adaptation for the series, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, has done quite well globally at the box office – raising the series’ total box-office sales to over a billion dollars.
