Capcom has announced a cloud-based version of Resident Evil 7 for the Nintendo Switch.
While the Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions of the game can run on native hardware, the new Resident Evil 7: biohazard Cloud Version for Switch will run on the Ubitus cloud service. Featured above, you can view the announcement trailer for the new port of the horror game.
A release is set for May 24th in Japan, with a price set to 2,000 yen for 180 days of play. You can also play the game for free for up to 15 minutes, and purchasing the full cloud version will get you access to all of the game’s post-launch downloadable content.
Resident Evil 7: biohazard is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In case you missed it, you can find our thorough written and video review for the game here (we highly recommend it!).
