Capcom has announced both Resident Evil 7: biohazard and Resident Evil Village are coming to Nintendo Switch 2.

Both mainline entries in their horror series will release their Gold Editions for Switch 2 day and date with the latest mainline entry’s launch, on February 27th.

While both games were previously released for the original Switch, they required internet access as they utilize the Cloud for play. It remains unclear if the Switch 2 ports will be cloud-based or natively played.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard has been available on Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Switch (via the Cloud), PS4, and Amazon Luna. Check out our review here!
