Capcom have shown a new gameplay trailer during their Resident Evil Showcase for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake.

The new trailer shows off the update gameplay from the original as well as a slight departure from the original intro. Though the famous village scene does make a comeback.

The trailer also reintroduces character Hannigan, who played a minor role as Leon’s assistance during his adventures throughout the game.

Gameplay seems to be very similar to previous remakes of the franchise. Such as the knife having limited durability.

During the showcase they also revealed the return of the famous shop trader from the original with additional features. Finally the game is announced to have a deluxe edition which added more DLC.

There is also a collector’s edition with all the physical goodies that go along with that such as a Leon figurine. Pre-orders are available now for this content.
