Resident Evil 3 Jill Valentine Trailer, Jill to be Playable via Update in Resident Evil Resistance

Resident Evil 3

Capcom have released a new trailer for Resident Evil 3, focusing on protagonist Jill Valentine, and that the character will be coming to Resident Evil Resistance.

The video description notes “Jill won’t just be the star of Resident Evil 3, though – she’ll also be added as a playable Survivor in Resident Evil Resistance in a future update.”

At the end of the trailer, we also see what seems to be a mutation of Nemesis. This is based on the creature’s teeth resembling those of Nemesis, and the tattered remains of what may have been its clothes around its waist and legs.

The creature does not resemble any form of Nemesis in the original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, albeit the final form of Nemesis was a quadruped. Whatever it is, it appears just after the explosion at the hospital.

This could present many possible theories. This could be the new final form of Nemesis, though showing that in a trailer before the game’s launch seems unlikely.

It could be a new form in-between stages, or another creature entirely. Will it pursue you, or be a singular boss battle. What do you think it is? Sound off in the comments below!

A demo for the game is also currently available.

You can find the rundown on the game (via Steam) below.

Jill Valentine is one of the last remaining people in Raccoon City to witness the atrocities Umbrella performed. To stop her, Umbrella unleashes their ultimate secret weapon; Nemesis!

Also includes Resident Evil Resistance, a new 1 vs 4 online multiplayer game set in the Resident Evil universe where four survivors face-off against a sinister Mastermind.

Resident Evil 3 launches worldwide April 3rd for Windows PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will also be bundled with Resident Evil Resistance. In case you missed it, you can read our hands-on preview from the demo here.
