Republique is a very ambitious stealth/adventure game, by Camouflaj, who had the game funded via kickstarter. Their kickstarter raised over $550,000 dollars last spring, and the game was set to release this past summer on iOS devices.
Unfortunately, the summer came and went and there was no word from Camouflaj, that is until now. In an interview with Red Bull U.K., studio boss Ryan Payton had this to say regarding the delay:
“I think our June 2013 release date was the most optimistic we could have put on our Kickstarter, and I think what we’ve realised is that one, it sucks for Kickstarter backers, as there’s definitely a precedent for things taking longer,”
Payton later confirmed a more solid release date:
“We haven’t announced anything yet, and while we still don’t know the official street date just yet, the game’s probably going to be coming out in December.”

Republique is a very unique game in that it features high quality production values, a unique and engaging story, and a brilliant voice cast – all while sporting a more unique gameplay style. You have to guide Hope around a mysterious and dark totalitarian country and organization, as she tries to escape, and run for her life.
Republique is set for release on iOS, PC and Mac.
