A new report (via Nikkei) is pointing to Nintendo producing a new Nintendo Switch model.

The Japanese news source noted the new model will be focused on portability and will come at a lower price point – however it will drop features to compensate.

While Nintendo didn’t comment on the new model, Nikkei also claimed the manufacturer has notified several distributors and game developers of their plans to release the new model as early as this year.

Lastly, Nikkei also notes that Nintendo is planning a more expensive online service to go alongside their currently available Nintendo Switch Online, which launched back in September of last year.
