I’m a gigantic fan of the Level-5 developed, space pirate themed RPG Rogue Galaxy, but sadly there hasn’t been much to capture that spirit since the game launched on the Playstation 2 all those years ago.
It seems like Japanese Playstation 3 owners are in for a treat, as Rogue Galaxy: Director’s Cut, Phantasy Star Generation: 1, and Phantasy Star Generation: 2 have all been published to the Playstation 2 classics portion of the Japanese Playstation Network.
The game’s prices can be found below:
- Rogue Galaxy: Director’s Cut (Level-5) – 1,234 yen
- Phantasy Star Generation: 1 (Sega) – 864 yen
- Phantasy Star Generation: 2 (Sega) – 864 yen
The two Phantasy Star games are remakes of the two original games, which launched on the Sega Master System and Mega Drive.
Sony America, please consider publishing these (especially Rogue Galaxy) to the North American PSN?
