Redshift Blueshift is the brainchild of Will Blanton, the sole creator of the retro shmup-meets-Pong arcade game.

Featured above, you can view a brief overview trailer for the game, which got published alongside Redshift Blueshift  being put onto Steam Greenlight.

While the game is being touted as a “vicious hyper-paced tournament-style” game, it also features elements reminiscent of Pong. You know, Pong, that game with the bouncing dot and the flat paddle. Players switch between shooting and reflecting the hyper-ball continuously.

The game supports local multiplayer, Xbox 360 controllers, and more. For now, you can sample the game’s current soundtrack.
