In a rather odd announcement, Tripwire Interactive has announced some news regarding their hit multiplayer WWII shooter, Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45.
The original Red Orchestra launched way back in March 2006, making it one of the first non-Valve games to be sold on Steam. The game was wildly successful, and gained even more popularity with the Darkest Hour mod created by the community mod team Darklight Games in 2009.
The mod has been continuously updated ever since, and just received a major new patch as Red Orchestra turns 13 years old. You can find a new trailer for the mod above, and read more about the latest update here.
To celebrate this milestone, Tripwire Interactive has permanently reduced the price of Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 to $4.99, and on top of that they are currently running a 75% off sale.
Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 is available on Windows PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam.
