While the original Record of Agarest War has been available on Android and iOS since December of last year, its prequel, Record of Agarest War Zero, is coming to Android as well.
Indie studio HyperDevbox has been the force behind porting these already robust and rewarding strategy RPGs from consoles to portables, although it’s not clear if any changes were made to the smartphone version of the game.
“We are extremely excited to bring yet another premium full video console game to mobile devices,” says HyperDevbox founder and CEO Carlo Perconti. “After our successful launch of Spectral Souls, Generation of Chaos, Blazing Souls Accelate, and Record of Agarest War for Android users worldwide, we are confident that Record of Agarest War Zero, prequel of Record of Agarest War, will satisfy the thirst of J-RPG fans at home or on the go.”
The game is set to go live at 8 PM EST, today, on the Google marketplace – the iOS version is presumably going to follow sometime later.
