The last time we talked about Reborn, we didn’t have much to go off other than some concept art and their promise of the kickstarter going live soon.

Well now their kickstarter campaign is up, and boy does the game look and sound awesome. Their initial goal is $200,000 to develop the game across Playstation 3 and Playstation 4, but they have several stretch goals for other platforms.

If you didn’t read our original report or you just don’t feel like it, Reborn is a third person action RPG set in a cyberpunk themed Neo Tokyo, fusing elements of eastern and western art. In the game you play as a futuristic version of Musashi Miyamoto as you fight gangs and corrupt corporate entities. Gameplay in Reborn is broken up into four categories – combat, stealth, augments and socializing. The finished game will also have a story mode and four player multiplayer.

What other platforms, you ask? At $550,000, the game will come to PC, $750,000 will secure a Playstation Vita port, and finally $1.09 million will bring on an Xbox One version. Reborn is being developed with Unreal Engine 3 for all current gen platforms, and Unreal Engine 4 for Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
