Rebellion have announced they will be giving away Evil Genius for free for a short time, with new information on Evil Genius 2: World Domination coming soon.
As detailed in the official Steam announcement and via press release, Rebellion are giving away free copies of the original Evil Genius for a limited time. Players will need to make or log-in to their Rebellion account, and link it to their Steam account via this website.
The announcement also states that “with Evil Genius 2: World Domination on the way (more news to come!), now is the perfect time to return to where it all began with Evil Genius.” This may imply we will soon hear a release date. We will keep you informed as we learn more.
In addition, those who sign-up to Rebellion’s newsletter will get the game’s soundtrack for free. “James Hannigan’s Evil Genius Soundtrack has been missing in action for quite some time,” the announcement states, “- but, in our weekly lair excavations, we stumbled across a mysterious encrypted container, and struck audio gold!”
