Razer Unveils New Kiyo X and Ripsaw X Webcam and Capture Card

Razer has announced new offerings for their peripherals, the Kiyo X and Ripsaw X, both offering new video conferencing and capture functionality.

The Razer Kiyo X and Ripsaw X are priced at $79.99 and $139.99 respectively, and are both available now on the Razer online store, or via participating retailers.

It’s worth noting the Ripsaw X is more focused on streamers that have a dedicated camera like a DSLR, as it does not have passthrough video support like the previously released Razer Ripsaw capture card – which has full video passthrough. The Kiyo X webcam supports full 1080p at 30FPS and 720p at 60FPS video recording, pending your preference.

Here’s a rundown on both new devices:

Razer Kiyo X

The Razer Kiyo X USB webcam completes the award-winning family of Kiyo webcams, boasting the ability to stream in full HD clarity; at 30 frames per second or ultra-smooth 60FPS streaming at 720p, and is available for a price of $79.99 USD.

Razer Ripsaw X

The Razer Ripsaw X plug-and-play capture card delivers brilliant video quality with up to 4K resolution at 30 FPS through both HDMI 2.0 and USB 3.0 connections, allowing streamers to connect cameras such as DSLRs or their other streaming gear with almost zero latency, and without having to install and mount cards inside their PC towers. The Ripsaw X is available for a price of $139.99 USD.
