ININ Games announced a western release for Ray’z Arcade Chronology and RayStorm x RayCrisis HD Collection.
Both the recently announced Ray’z Arcade Chronology and the newly announced RayStorm x RayCrisis HD Collection are coming west on Switch and PS4.
Release dates weren’t announced, and it’s worth mentioning Ray’z Arcade Chronology will be digital-only while RayStorm x RayCrisis HD Collection is coming via retail (via Strictly Limited Games) and digital stores.
The Arcade Chronology collection is launching on March 23rd, 2023 in Japan and includes these games:
- RayForce 1994
- RayStorm 1996
- RayStorm NEO-HD 2023 – A high resolution remaster of the arcade version Raystorm. RayStorm HD released in 2010 had an additional element, and the screen ratio was 16:9, this has the same content as the arcade version and the screen ratio remains 4: 3, thus its new title is NEO-HD.
- RayCrisis 1998
- RayCrisis HD 2023 – A high-resolution remaster of RayCrisis.
The contents of RayStorm x RayCrisis HD Collection were not confirmed, however it will probably include games not included in the Chronology set.
