Solo indie developer Abyss Deepen has announced Rasen, their stylish and new atmospheric PvP or PvE arena dueling game.
Rasen is in development for Windows PC (via Steam), though a release date wasn’t announced.
“I’m a huge Soulsborne fan and Dark Souls III was the spark that pushed me into creating this game and getting into game development in the first place,” the developer said in a message. “I really love the precise combat of Sekiro, the dark fantasy atmosphere of Dark Souls, and the fast-paced, competitive style of GunZ.
“Rasen is a deeply rewarding, skill-based combination of these influences, in which you can team up with friends, face other players, or battle challenging AI opponents in atmospheric duels, intense clashes and chaotic deathmatches.”
