Atmospheric arena dueling game Rasen announced

Solo indie developer Abyss Deepen has announced Rasen, their stylish and new atmospheric PvP or PvE arena dueling game.

Rasen is in development for Windows PC (via Steam), though a release date wasn’t announced.

“I’m a huge Soulsborne fan and Dark Souls III was the spark that pushed me into creating this game and getting into game development in the first place,” the developer said in a message. “I really love the precise combat of Sekiro, the dark fantasy atmosphere of Dark Souls, and the fast-paced, competitive style of GunZ.

Rasen is a deeply rewarding, skill-based combination of these influences, in which you can team up with friends, face other players, or battle challenging AI opponents in atmospheric duels, intense clashes and chaotic deathmatches.”
