IMC Games has confirmed the release schedule for their upcoming Tree of Savior beta.
The somewhat closed beta will be kicking off on August 4th, at 10:30 PM (EDT), and it will run until August 10th 2:00 AM (EDT). 5,000 lucky testers will be selected at random from a pool of users who have logged into the Tree of Savior website from some time in between June 25th and July 30th.
If you get selected, you’ll get a beta key sent to you via email on July 31st, all of which are redeemable through Steam. As for what the beta entails, users can expect to be able to test out the “basic environment and overall infrastructure inspection for Tree of Savior’s service through STEAM platform.”
There will seemingly be no time limits while the beta is going on, as the servers will be up 24 hours a day, and will use the Korea 3rd CBT version.
For those of our fans who haven’t been following Tree of Savior, the game is a spiritual successor to Ragnarok Online, with a Korean development team at IMC Games headed by former Gravity Corp director Hak Kyu Kim. It’s seen a greenlighting on Steam, and sports a style very reminiscent of its predecessor.
