NetherRealm Studios have confirmed (via NeoGAF) a new type of fatality in Mortal Kombat X today, during a livestream for the game, video of which you can watch above.

Pictured above, the new “QUITALITY” happens when your opponent (or you) rage-quit in an online match—causing their head to explode. Is this worth avoiding the humiliation of losing the match?

Although the conditions are not quite clear yet, it seems that you only trigger the Quitality when you manually quit the match.

Mortal Kombat X is hitting the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles, as well as PC, on April 14th. The PS3 and 360 versions have been delayed until this summer.
