Apogee Entertainment showcased a first look at the single-player story campaign coming to action-adventure dungeon maker Quest Master when it exits Steam Early Access later this year.
A fully fledged single-player campaign was one of the roadmap goals for the dev team, created by using the very same tools provided to players, showcasing what can be done with the indie dungeon maker.
Since its release into Early Access back in May 2024, players have already created over 5,000 hand-crafted levels. Quest Master has been available in Early Access on Windows PC, macOS, and SteamOS through Steam for $19.99.
Quest Master 1.0, including the new single-player story mode, will launch later this year. A demo is available for would-be adventurers to try out Quest Master before taking the plunge.
Here’s the deets and a teaser for the new single-player campaign:
Quest Master is Two Games in One
- A robust Dungeon Maker, powered by player creativity with endless replayability
- A story-rich Campaign, filled with characters, mysteries, and lore to uncover
The 1.0 launch with the Single-Player Campaign arrives later this year.
We promised a content update for the current Early Access build of Quest Master, and it’s still coming!
Our Lead Programmer, Julian Cruetz, and Game Director, Jeron Moore, have been hard at work showcasing what’s new (and what’s next for 1.0) to press and influencers at Gamescom. Keep your eyes peeled… a cheeky update will be landing soon!
