Bethesda Softworks and developer id Software announced a Quake remaster via leaked store pages ahead of an official announcement today.
The new Quake remaster is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One (via the Xbox Store), and PlayStation 4 (via the PlayStation Store), and Nintendo Switch (via the eShop). Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions are coming soon as a free upgrade. The game will also be on Xbox Game Pass.
Lastly, if you own the original Quake on Steam, the game has been updated to the Quake remaster entirely free – you can find that here on the Steam store.
