Psychological Roguelike RPG Darkest Dungeon Hits PS Vita, PS4 on September 27

Red Hook Studios has announced the PlayStation release date for Darkest Dungeon.

The psychological, roguelike dungeon RPG will launch for both PS Vita and PlayStation 4 on September 27th in both North America and Europe.

Users will be able to buy the game for $24.99, and if you own both platforms, you’ll be able to get it for free on the second platform. The game also supports cross-save functionality, and will get a 20% discount for PlayStation Plus members.

    I think perhaps that it was a bit “astroturfed” a bit. I mean I’m sure there were people that actually really liked it but these guys seemed to go out of their way to make sure only positive reviews would be shown.

    I think I’d only bother if they allowed modification of the game like on PC. Maybe implementation of a menu with some of the more popular ini edits for easy changes, but I know I’m expecting too much. This game is a pure grindfest where the only real problems are stress management and potential player boredom, as well as developer limitations on interesting party makeup.

    I that was the case, taking those reviews down definitely is not the answer. It just makes you look untrustworthy.
