    PS5 Shipments Top 13.3 Million Units

    Sony has announced PS5 shipments top 13.3 million units worldwide alongside PS4 topping 116.6 million units, news confirmed in their latest financial report.

    The news that PS5 shipments top 13.3 million units come in the financial period ending on September 30th, 2021. A total of 3.3 million PlayStation 5 consoles were shipped and 200,000 PlayStation 4 consoles were shipped in that time period.


    It’s worth noting PlayStation 4 shipments came down 1.3 million units from the 1.5 million units shipped in the same time period in the previous fiscal year.

    The most recent milestone for hardware shipments was PS5 shipments topping 10.1 million units and PS4 shipments over 116.4 million units worldwide as of August 2021.
