While PC users can tinker with settings and push most games to the very boundaries of what is considered feasibly possible in modern graphics, The Witcher 3 owners had to wait for improved performance support on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The game received an Xbox One X performance update back in December of last year, alongside a planned update to make parity on the PlayStation 4. Now, we’ve learned that update is thankfully still being developed – however the studio has run into a few snags.
“PS4 Pro HDR patch is still very much in development. Due to the fact that we’ve discovered some additional bugs along the way, we need more time to finish it. We don’t want to compromise the quality of the update, so we would like to ask you for a bit more patience,” said CD Projekt RED community manager Marcin Momot.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In case you missed it – you can read our review for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt here (we highly recommend it, it was our 2015 game of the year!).
