GKIDS and Fathom Events have announced Promare will have additional North American screenings, with additional content.

While the film originally screened in the US on September 17th to 22nd at select cinemas, additional screenings will now take place on December 8th via Fathom Events. While locations were not mentioned at this time, Promare (Redux) will reportedly have “all-new bonus content.”

In addition, GKIDS participating cinemas have extended screenings until an unspecified date (some cinemas listing their availability dates as October “10/14+”).

Screenings for both outlets will be available with English subtitles and English dub.

“Thirty years has passed since the appearance of Burnish, a race of flame-wielding mutant beings, who destroyed half of the world with fire. When a new group of aggressive mutants calling themselves “Mad Burnish” appears, the epic battle between Galo Thymos, a new member of the anti-Burnish rescue team “Burning Rescue,” and Lio Fotia, the leader of “Mad Burnish” begins.”

In related news, the film has also gotten limited screenings in the UK and Ireland.
